Weekend Trip

This last weekend we took a trip to Guwahati, about 3.5 hours from the school, with Miss Jennie to purchase some train tickets for our Christmas break trip. While we were there we got to do some shopping and we bought material to make a Salwar, an indian dress. We get to pick it up on Friday from the tailor and I'll wear it to church Sabbath, oh I can't wait! While we were in Guwahati we bought a whole bunch of supplies for baking, so I get to bake whenever I want now. Well almost, as long as we have electricity so I can use the little oven we have. We got some ice cream and then we did some more shopping had lunch at a chinese cuisine and then found a Baskin Robbins!!! Yum... 31 flavors and all! It tasted like icecream from home too. Then we hopped back on a bus and then an autoricshaw and finally got home at 11:30. Then we had finals early the next morning! But things have been going good. Just a few minutes ago I put a pumpkin pie in the oven for tomorrow. We'll have a Thanksgiving dinner with one man who is here with Maranatha doing some work on the school. Thanks for the prayers! I'll be able to update more often because we have internet for a little while at the school! Have a great week!
